In 2015, the world experienced many acts of random violence and millions of people were forced to flee their homes to become refugees in foreign lands. In response, R2K decided to dedicate 2016 as the year of “Love and Sanctuary.” A sanctuary is a place of refuge or rest, a place where one feels safe and at peace. Through love and random acts of kindness — at work, school and in our day-to-day interactions with everyone we meet — R2K believes we can provide sanctuary to those who feel unsafe and abandoned and heal the world.
