To raise awareness that 1 in 8 Coloradans suffer from hunger,
Resort 2 Kindness organized a community food drive for The BIG Give 2011. For the month of October, we enlisted the community’s help to donate nonperishable foods or monetary donations for the Food Bank of the Rockies. The event not only helped increase public awareness about the growing problem of hunger in our community but brought in more than 20,561 lbs of food in monetary and in-kind donations.
