As volunteers, vendors and food trucks set up for Trucks 4 Pups 2015,
the puppies wriggled about in their crates with doggy smiles from ear to ear and little tails frantically wagged as they hoped to find a loving family to take them home! Everyone who attended came in the spirit of helping these big hearted, loyal and happy balls of love find the “forever homes” they deserved and as a result, 35 of the pups were adopted that day!
In addition to the adoptions, more than $5,000 in cash and in-kind donations were raised to help the participating dog rescues, 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue, Every Creature Counts, Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue and Waggin’ Tails Canine Rescue, continue their passionate work of caring for homeless dogs. The money and supplies raised went toward helping even more dogs. It provided them with much needed health services and supported their volunteer fosters.
